Start With the Custodian That Holds the Record

Sheriff Rod Howell's Colquitt County Sheriff's Office publishes its administrative contact at 200 Veterans Parkway N., Moultrie, GA 31788. Mail is listed at P.O. Box 188, Moultrie, GA 31776. The main and jail number is 229-616-7430. The business office is 229-616-7020, countywide non-emergency dispatch is 229-616-7470, investigations is 229-616-7460, and the main fax is 229-616-7015.

The Colquitt County Jail is listed at 200 S. Vandenberg Drive, Moultrie, GA 31768, with the same 229-616-7430 number. The official county and sheriff pages reviewed for this guide did not show a current online inmate roster or recent-booking feed. No current sheriff records hours, local request fee table, designated records email, or guaranteed turnaround was found. Call first for present custody and use a focused written request when you need an existing record.

  • County custody, booking sheet, or booking photo: Call the jail at 229-616-7430 for a time-sensitive custody question. For a documentary record, send CCSO a narrow Georgia Open Records request identifying the person, approximate booking date, and arresting agency. Ask separately for the existing booking sheet and the intake photograph if legally releasable under O.C.G.A. ยง 35-1-19. The Georgia open-records guide explains the state request route. The home guide brings the custody and records steps together.
  • Wanted or warrant concern: Use the Most Wanted page for the sheriff contact path. CCSO's current warrant procedure should be confirmed directly, because a public county warrant portal was not found.
  • Moultrie police report: For an arrest or incident inside Moultrie, contact Moultrie Police at 128 First Street SW, 229-985-3131. The published hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The anonymous tip line is 229-890-5449. A police report and the sheriff's jail booking record are separate records. City records requests can also be routed through the Moultrie City Clerk at P.O. Box 3368, Moultrie, GA 31776, or bonnie.kudela@moultriega.com.
  • Court case and disposition: The Colquitt County Clerk of Superior Court is at 9 South Main Street, Moultrie, GA 31768, with mailing address P.O. Box 2827, phone 229-616-7420, and fax 229-616-7029. Start with the Georgia Courts E-Access route for filed case information, then contact the clerk when a docket or disposition needs confirmation.
  • Other city police records: For an Omega arrest, contact Omega Police at 5518 Alabama Avenue, 229-528-4911, and the city or court clerk at 229-528-4400. Omega crosses the Tift and Colquitt County line, so identify the arrest location and agency before choosing a jail. A documented GBI Omega case shows why an Omega arrest can be booked into Tift County Jail instead of Colquitt County Jail. For Norman Park, contact the Municipal Building and Police Department at 154 East Broad Street, Norman Park, GA 31771. The city number is 229-769-3611 and the police number is 229-769-3666. No official public Norman Park arrest log, feed, or photo page was found. Ask the city or police department for the incident record and call CCSO to verify any current county custody.
  • Sentenced state custody: Use the GDC Offender Query for a person sentenced to Georgia state custody. GDC is a separate system from a newly booked person or someone held in the county jail, and its locator is the state route for offender information.
  • Federal or immigration detention: Use the Federal Bureau of Prisons locator for qualifying federal prisoners and the ICE Detainee Locator for qualifying immigration detainees. These are custody locators, not mugshot galleries. Coverage and release timing can affect a result.
